Weather the Storm tells a real story that helped us out of what could have been a catastrophic situation. Before Hurricane Katrina hit back in 2005, we were concerned that there were no high places in our homes to place valuable and irreplaceable items. Then we thought, why not bring to work and place in our offices (which were on the second floor of our buildings). We were able to save several photo albums, computer equipment, and important documents. We know that not all of us work somewhere in which we can store items in our office, but if you can, or know someone who works in an office on a higher floor that can store a few items for you, consider this the next time a major storm is heading your way. Or if you are thinking of renting a storage shed in the future, consider renting one on the second or third floor, if available.
